Detectives have released a photo of a woman who may be able to assist with their inquiries in relation to the armed robbery of a service station at Woodridge this evening.

Around 7.40pm a woman entered the Compton Road business and threatened the male staff member with a knife demanding money. The staff member complied and the woman left with a sum of cash.

She is described as Caucasian, slim build about 170cm tall with brown hair. She is believed to be in her 20s and was wearing a white cap, shirt and shorts and sunglasses.

Anyone who recognises the woman or has further information is urged to contact police.

The male staff member was not physically injured during the incident.
