Police are investigating after an armed robbery incident at Maroochydore yesterday evening.
At about 10.15pm, a man armed with a knife entered a fast food restaurant on Maroochydore Road and demanded money from the staff.
The man fled the scene a short time later in the direction of Broadmeadows Road with a sum of cash.
No one was injured during the incident.
Investigations are continuing.
