Police in Murray Bridge are investigating two assault incidents on young girls in the past week.
The first incident on Saturday 16 July was reported to police yesterday.
A 10-year-old girl has told police that as she and two friends were walking through the grounds of the Murray Bridge South primary school, a man approached them and asked them their names.
He then grabbed one girl around the waist before touching her groin area.
The man ran away when one of the children said she was going to ring police.
The man is described as Caucasian, 6 foot, of skinny build, aged late twenties to early thirties with short spiky curly hair and facial stubble.
He was wearing a white top with Lonsdale written in black across the front, dark jeans and black shoes and belt.
The second incident although similar has a different suspect description.
At about 6pm on Tuesday, a 12-year-old girl was running through Pine Park off Mary St, Murray Bridge when a man grabbed her top from behind.
The girl broke free and continued to run when the man grabbed the back of her top and put his other hand around her hip.
The girl again broke free near Swanport Road and the man left in the opposite direction through the park.
The suspect man is described as an Aboriginal male about 40-50 years old, 175 centimetres tall of solid build with a fat stomach.
He was wearing a black beanie and a long workman’s style, yellow fluorescent jacket to the ankles, with a black 10 centimetre stripe on the bottom of the jacket.
