Police are investigating a robbery that occurred today at Edwardstown.

At about 1am two men entered the Hungry Jacks restaurant on South Road, and demanded cash.

One of the men was armed with a blunt metal object, possibly a hammer.

The suspects fled with an amount of cash.

A search of the area was conducted with the assistance of the Police Dog Squad, but nothing was located.

The first suspect is described as being aged in his mid-20s, slim build, about 188cm tall, with an Australian accent.

The second suspect is also in his mid-20s, about 165cm tall, with an Australian accent.

Both suspects were wearing balaclavas, one suspect was wearing a black jacket, and the other suspect was wearing an olive-green jacket.
