17 April 2012 – Armed Robbery – Pizza Store – Newton

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at a Newton pizza store last night.
At about 10.45pm a man entered the Dominos on Gorge Rd armed with a knife and hammer and threatened staff.
He made off with cash and was last seen running towards Clairville Road.
No one was injured during the robbery.
The suspect is described as Caucasian, about 188cm tall, with a medium build and was wearing a balaclava.
Police patrols searched the area with the assistance of a police dog but have been unable to locate the man.
