Police from the Ashfield Local Area Command are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Earlwood overnight.
About 8.30pm (Monday 23 April 2012) a man described as 18-20 years old, about 175cm tall with a thin build and wearing dark clothing with a hood and balaclava entered a service station on Wardell Road.
The man, who was armed with a pistol, threatened the two shop attendants before stealing a sum of cash and running from the premises.
No one was injured during the robbery.
A crime scene was established and deceives were called to the scene.
