Three men then ran from the car and police followed them on foot.
Police arrested a 35-year-old man in Oxford Street, Bondi Junction, and a 41-year-old man in Magney Street, Woollahra, and took them to Waverley Police Station.
They were both subsequently charged with aggravated break and enter with intent to commit serious indictable offence, malicious damage and stalk/intimidate. The older man was also charged with two counts of assault police.
Both men were refused bail to appear at Waverley Local Court later today.
Two police officers were allegedly assaulted, suffering a number of lacerations, while affecting the arrest of the 41-year-old man.
