Police are currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Buddina.

Around 2.20 this afternoon, a man has entered a Parkana Cresent take away shop and approached the counter with a black plastic bag.

The man has showed what appeared to be a firearm and made demands for staff to give him money.

The staff complied and the man then left the business and was last seen on Oomoo Street.

No one was physically injured as a result of the incident.

The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, of a slim build and was between 25-35 years of age.

He was last seen wearing a white collared t-shirt with dark horizontal stripes, jeans, white shoes and a dark coloured hat.
