Police are investigating the armed robbery of a bottle shop at Rochedale South this afternoon.
Around 5.30pm a man entered the Underwood Road store armed with a knife before pushing an employee towards the counter and demanding he hand over money from the till.
The shop attendant complied and the man fled the scene with a sum of cash.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, approximately 178cm tall with a slim build.
He was wearing a dark shirt, dark long pants and a black balaclava.
