25 May 2012 – Armed Robbery – Bakery – Acacia Ridge

Police are currently investigating the robbery of a bakery in Acacia Ridge this evening.

Around 5.50pm, a male has entered a bakery on Mortimer Road, Acacia Ridge.

The man has purchased a drink, and then produced what appeared to be a hand gun and grabbed the cash register.

The man has carried the cash register to a waiting vehicle and fled the scene.

The vehicle is described as a silver Honda Civic sedan, and was last seen heading west on Mortimer Road.

The man is described as being Asian in appearance, in his mid to late 20’s and was last seen wearing a white t shirt and a dark zip up style jacket.

Police investigations are continuing.
