A petrol station at Blair Athol was robbed early this morning by three men.

At about 3.15am, two men with their faces covered entered the Woolworths petrol station on Prospect Road, armed with a knife and iron bar. A third man stayed at the door.

The two men demanded money and cigarettes from the staff member, who was not injured during the incident.

The trio then ran away from the store, and were seen driving away in an older model white sedan, with an amount of cash and cigarettes.

Two of the men were wearing grey hooded jumpers, with the third man wearing a black hooded jumper and black jeans. All are described as being of Caucasian appearance.
