Detectives from Oxley Criminal Investigation Branch investigating the armed robbery an Acacia Ridge bakery on Friday afternoon have released images of man who may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Around 5.50pm a man entered a Mortimer Road bakery, purchased a drink, and then produced a hand gun and grabbed the cash register.

The man has carried the cash register to a waiting vehicle and fled the scene.

The vehicle is described as a silver Honda Civic sedan, and was last seen heading west on Mortimer Road.

The man is described as being Asian in appearance, in his mid to late 20’s and was last seen wearing a white t shirt and a dark zip up style jacket.

No one was physically injured and police investigations are continuing.
