Police are investigating the armed robbery of a take-away food restaurant at Yamanto last night.

Around 10.40pm three men have entered the restaurant on the corner of Warwick Road and Ash Street allegedly armed with a knife and another unknown weapon, demanding money.

The trio left the scene with an amount of money, through the back door towards Ash Street near Marilyn Street.

The first man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, approximately 180cms tall with a slim build and sandy hair. He was wearing a dark coloured jumper and had his face partially covered.

The second man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, approximately 175cms tall and was wearing a blue hooded jumper with white writing on the front. He also had his face partially covered.

The third man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, approximately 180cms tall with a slim build. He was wearing a black hooded jumper.

No one was physically injured during the incident.
