Police have last night charged a man following investigations into the alleged armed robbery of a store at Indooroopilly on June 3.

It will be alleged that a man armed with a cricket bat robbed a Coonan Street convenience store around 3.15am.

It will further be alleged that the vehicle used during the robbery had been allegedly stolen following a burglary at a Terracotta Close, Griffin, residence a few days earlier.

The vehicle was located allegedly burnt out at Pallara later in the morning on June 3.

A 17-year-old Forest Lake man has been charged with armed robbery in company, burglary, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and arson of a motor vehicle. He is expected to appear at the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.

Investigations are continuing.
