Police are investigating the armed robbery of a bottleshop at Victoria Point this night by two men at knife point.

Around 6.35pm, the two men entered the Colburn Avenue store and confronted the 41-year-old female employee before making away with cash from the till and a quantity of alcohol.

One of the men was armed with a knife during the incident.

They were last seen heading on foot towards Basil Street.

Both men are described as having proportionate builds and being aged between their late teens and mid-20’s.

One was wearing a black hooded jumper and black long pants, both with a white stripe down each side.

The second man was wearing a flannelette check jumper with a grey hood, and long pants.

The attendant was not physically injured during this incident.
