7 June 2012 – Armed Robbery – Deli – Peterhead

Western Adelaide Police have cordoned off a street in Peterhead following an armed robbery at a Deli late this afternoon.
Just before 5pm a man armed with a baseball bat assaulted a deli owner on Fletcher Road and then fled with cash from the till.
The suspect described as a Caucasian man wearing a black hooded top and track-pants was last seen running on Wills Street possibly entering a nearby house.
Police including STAR Group officers have cordoned off an area in Will Street searching for the suspect.
Traffic restrictions apply in the area so please avoid the area if possible
