Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding an armed robbery at Wiley Park overnight.

 

About 11.40pm, (Friday 16 November, 2012), a man armed with a knife entered a service station on King Georges Road.

Once inside, the man threatened a staff member and demanded money.

The male attendant handed over an amount of cash and the man left the service station, heading along King Georges Road towards a laneway near Wiley Park Public School.

No one was injured during the robbery.

A crime scene was established at the location and detectives from Campsie Local Area Command will continue their investigations.

The man is described as being Middle Eastern/Mediterranean appearance, 25-30 years of age, about 170cm tall, with a fair complexion.

At the time he was wearing a grey hooded jumper, black pants, and red shoes.
