Police have released an image of a man they wish to speak to following the armed robbery of a combined service station and convenience store at Pacific Pines yesterday.

Around 2.30am a man entered the Binstead Way premises and took two pies from a heating cabinet. He then collected a number of items from the store and placed them on the counter.

The man left the store with one pie without paying or taking any of the other items.

He returned to the premises a short time later with a bottle of wine and held it over his head in a threatening manner and made demands for cigarettes. He obtained a quantity of cigarettes before leaving the premises only to return again this time the wine bottle was broken. The man acted threateningly with the broken bottle and made demands for more pies cash and cigarettes.

The attendant gave him a number of pies however refused to hand over any cash and the offender left the premises.

The offender is described as being Caucasian in appearance, aged in his early 20s, approximately 180cms tall with a slim build. He has long light brown coloured hair and was wearing a black suit.
