5 December 2012 – Armed Robbery – Supermarket – Wynnum West

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a supermarket in Wynnum West overnight.

Around 7.30pm a man entered the Wondall Road store and approached two female employees at the counter.

The man produced a knife and demanded money before fleeing on foot with a sum of cash.

The employees were not injured.

The man was wearing a dark blue or green long sleeved shirt, light blue jeans, black slip on shoes and a black coloured balaclava.
