Police have charged a 29-year-old man after the armed robbery of a Clontarf service station last night.
Around 11.40pm a man entered the Hornibrook Esplanade business allegedly armed with a knife and demanded cash from the male staff member.
The Woody Pointman has been charged with one count of armed robbery and is due to appear in the Redcliffe Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Police are continuing to investigate this armed robbery and are seeking further information from members of the public.
Police are urging members of the public who may have witnessed anyone acting suspiciously in the area of Hornibrook Esplanade, Donald Street or Inglis Street at Woody Point last night to call Crime Stoppers.
