18 December 2012 – Armed Robbery – Hotel – Shorncliffe

Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a hotel in Shorncliffe last night.
Around 9.30pm, a man has entered the business on Pier Avenue and produced a knife.
He demanded cash from the bar staff, and the staff have complied.
The man has then fled the scene with a sum of cash.
No one was physically injured during the robbery.
The man is described as being around 183cms tall, of a proportionate build.
Investigations are continuing, and police are urging anyone who may be able to assist to contact Crime Stoppers.
