2 February 2013 – Armed Robbery – Hotel – Aspley

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a hotel in Aspley.
Around 4.30 this afternoon, a man has approached a bar at the Gympie Road hotel and produced what appear to be a firearm.
He made demands for money, and the attendant has complied and handed over a sum of cash.
The man has then left the hotel on foot.
No one was physically injured during the robbery.
The man is descried as being Caucasian in appearance, in his 30s and had a slim build.
Investigations are continuing.
