23 February 2013 – Armed Robbery – Tavern – Waterford

Police are investigating after the robbery of a Waterford tavern last night.

Around 11pm, it is believed three men gained entry to the Albert Street business after using a vehicle to damage a door.

Alcohol and a sum of cash were removed from the premises before the three fled in the vehicle, believed to be a white Mitsubishi Triton utility.

Anybody who may have seen the vehicle or witnessed the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.

Police are working with the owners of the business to identify those responsible.
