7 March 2013 – Armed Robbery – Liquor Store – Woree

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a liquor store at Woree this evening.
Around 8pm a man armed with a knife entered the Charlotte Street business and threatened the female staff member before fleeing with a sum of cash.
The staff member was not physically injured during the incident.
The man is described as being aged in his early 20s, Aboriginal or Torres Straight Islander in appearance, 178cms tall and with a slim build. He was wearing black long pants, white shirt and a black hooded jumper.
Police investigations are continuing.
