11 March 2013 – Armed Robbery – Tavern – Kallangur

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a tavern at Kallangur this afternoon.
Just after 3pm a man entered the Anzac Avenue premises before claiming to be armed with a weapon and demanding bar staff handover money from the till.
The man stole a sum of cash before fleeing the scene.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
The man is described as being approximately 185cm tall with a proportionate build. He was wearing black pants, a hooded jumper, black sunglasses and material covering his face.
