Police are investigating after a stolen vehicle was used to force entry into a number of premises on the Sunshine Coast last night.

Just before midnight, a man stole a tray back truck with a small crane type lift on the back from a business at Noosaville.

The vehicle was then driven into the roller doors of a service station on Eumundi-Noosa Road, Doonan where a sum of moneywas taken from the till.

The same vehicle was used to force entry into a pizza shop at a Ridgeview Drive centre in Peregian Springs around 12.40am. A cash tin containing a sum of money was stolen from the premises. CCTV images from this incident have been released (pictured).

A man then drove to a hotel in Peregian Beach and used the vehicle to smash the glass door to the gaming room, before ramming another vehicle.

The man then attempted to steal a poker machine, before fleeing the scene empty-handed when police arrived.

The man was wearing a dark suit jacket, black trousers, black dress shoes, black gloves and a black full-faced helmet.
