13 March 2013 – Armed Robbery – Bottle Shop – Stapylton

Police are investigating after two men attempted to rob a drive-in at Stapylton last night.

Around 11.30pm the attendant had locked up the Stapylton Jacobs Well Road business when he discovered two men waiting at the side of the building.

One man was armed with what appeared to be a shotgun while the other was armed with a baseball bat. The men then demanded money from the attendant but left empty handed.

The attendant, a 61-year-old Stapylton man, was not physically injured.
