A man has been charged with armed robbery after a bottle shop at North Ipswich was robbed early this evening.
Shortly before 7pm, police will allege a man entered the Pine Street store and picked up a quantity of alcohol before walking towards the door.
When confronted by a staff member it will be alleged the man threatened him with a knife before leaving with the alcohol.
The staff member, a 22-year-old Saddliers Crossing man, was not physically injured.
A 17-year-old Crestmead man has also been charged with stealing and enter premises with intent to commit indictable offences.
He is expected to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court tomorrow.
