Detectives from the Regional Investigations Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in their investigation into an armed robbery in East Victoria Park on Wednesday 6 March, 2013. Shortly before 11.30pm, a man armed with a knife walked into the We Never Sleep Deli on Albany Highway and demanded cash from a male staff member. Another man remained at the front door to the business. The first offender threatened the staff member with the weapon before he stole a quantity of money. The two offenders then fled the scene on foot towards Kent Street. The first offender is described as olive-skinned, approximately 185cm tall, between 20 and 30 years of age and of slim to medium build. The second offender is described as olive-skinned, approximately 185cm tall, between 20 and 30 years of age and of slim to medium build. Investigators would like to speak to the two men (pictured) who they believe can assist with their inquiry.
