A 36-year-old man wanted in Queensland for numerous armed robberies will be extradited from Melbourne today.
Sunshine Coast Detectives yesterday attended Melbourne and successfully applied for the extradition of the Melbourne man.
The extradition follows a joint investigation between Sunshine Coast, North Brisbane and Upper Mount Gravatt detectives.
The charges relate to armed robberies at banks in Noosa Heads, Carina and Chermside between February and March 2009
The man is expected to appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court this afternoon on three charges of armed robbery.
