Police are investigating an aggravated robbery that occurred at a Brompton hotel last night.

At about 10.30pm, a man armed with a knife entered the Excelsior Hotel on Coglin Street and demanded money.

He fled with an amount of cash, and was last seen running south on Hawker Street. He drove away in a black early 90’s Holden Commodore sedan.

No one was injured during the incident.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, and was wearing a black hooded jumper, grey track pants and grey skate-style shoes.
