Police are investigating an armed robbery which occurred in Manly Vale last night.

About 10.50pm (Thursday 11 April 2013), two males with their faces covered entered a fast food restaurant on Condamine Street, Manly Vale, and threatened staff and customers with iron bars.

The pair made for demands for cash and were given an amount of money. They also stole mobile phones from three customers who were in the store at the time.

They left the store and entered a black four wheel drive and drove from the scene. No-one was injured in the robbery.

Police from Northern Beaches Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene, which was examined by forensic officers.

Detectives are investigating possible links between this incident and an armed robbery which occurred at a premises on Help Street, Chatswood, about an hour later , and also another armed robbery which occurred at a brothel on Condamine Street, Balgowlah, early yesterday morning (11 April 2013).
