Police have charged two people following an armed robbery in North Ipswich this morning.
At 3am, three females entered a Downs Street service station, and one allegedly demanded the attendant open the register.
The console operator has locked the doors, however, one female has exited the premises after the doors were briefly opened.
A male threatened the attendant with a knife, before the group proceeded to smash the glass doors and flee on foot with food items.
A 21-year-old Woodend man is due to appear in the IpswichMagistrates Court today charged with robbery.
A 16-year-old Raceview girl has been charged with robbery and will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
Investigations are continuing.
