Melbourne Embona Taskforce detectives have charged two people following an armed robbery at a convenience store in Melbourne on Monday 15 April. The armed robbery was alleged to have occurred on Queen Street about 4.20am. A 31-year-old Werribee woman was arrested at a Tarneit address on 23 April and charged with robbery, theft and assault. A 38-year-old Doncaster woman was arrested on 25 April and charged with robbery, theft and assault. Both women were bailed to appear in the Melbourne Magistrate’s Court on 17 June.
