Police have charged two males in relation to ram raids which occurred in Sydney’s southwest earlier this week.
About 2am on Tuesday 14 May, a white Peugeot was used to smash through the front of a café and clothing store on Walder Road in Hammondville.
Money, jewellery and clothing were stolen.
Police from Liverpool Local Area Command’s Anti-Theft Unit have been investigating the incident and today executed a search warrant on a residence on Weston Street in Fairfield and one on Railway Terrace in Merrylands.
Officers arrested two males, aged 18 and 16.
The youth has been charged with two counts of aggravated break and enter, assault police and resisting arrest.
The man was charged with two counts of aggravated break and enter.
The youth will appear at Campbelltown Children’s Court today while the man has been granted conditional bail to appear at Liverpool Local Court on 11 June.
