Police are asking for public assistance after a woman walking with her guide dog had her bag stolen yesterday.
It is believed the 27-year-old Keysborough woman, who is legally blind, was walking along Parkmore Road at around 2pm after visiting a local shopping centre.
As she was walking, a dark coloured vehicle pulled up alongside her and a man in dark clothing got out.
The man ran over to the woman and grabbed her handbag, pulling it from her shoulder.
The man then ran back to the vehicle, got into the backseat and the car drove away.
The victim said the man did not speak to her during the incident and she was not injured.
