Detectives from Brimbank Embona have charged three males following a spate of more than 20 armed robberies across metropolitan Melbourne since March.
A 17-year-old has been charged with 21 counts of armed robbery and associated offences, aggravated burglary and theft of a motor car.
He is continuing to assist police with their enquiries.
An 18-year-old man from Kings Park has been charged with 10 counts of armed robbery and associated offences and theft of a motor car and associated driving offences.
He has been remanded to appear before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
A 22-year-old male from Hoppers Crossing has also been charged with theft of a motor car and has been bailed to appear before Sunshine Magistrates’ Court on 12 August.
