Police have released an image of man they are seeking in relation to the armed robbery of a food store at Woodridge in the early hours of this morning.

Around 1.15am a man entered the Ewing Road premises carrying a bottle.

He grabbed the female store attendant from behind and pushed her towards the register while making threats with the bottle.

The man obtained an undisclosed amount of money from the till as well as making demands for cigarettes before running out of the store and heading south along Ewing Road.

No one was injured during the incident.

The offender is described as being of aboriginal appearance with a thin moustache and wearing black track pants with a white stripe down the side of the leg, a black hoodie worn over a cap with a bright yellow visor section, blue grey sneakers and carrying a bright blue back pack with two stripes on the shoulder strap.
