Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the robbery of a corner store in Armidale.
About 1.45pm today (Wednesday 29 May 2013), three males with their faces concealed entered a store on Niagara Street.
It’s alleged they threatened a male and a female shop attendant with knives, before leaving with an amount of cash.
No one was injured during the incident.
A crime scene was established and examined by specialist forensic officers.
Investigators from New England Local Area Command are investigating and would like to speak with three people who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
The first male is only described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, and was wearing a light-coloured top at the time.
The second man is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, and aged 18 to 19 years. He was wearing a blue and white striped jumper.
The third male is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance and about 175cm tall. He was wearing shorts and sneakers at the time.
