Police have arrested a 26-year-old woman from Paralowie for a series of petrol drive-offs in the northern suburbs.

Using the same car each time, the registration number was reported and together with CCTV vision, follow-up enquiries eventually allowed police to catch up with the woman.

Police will allege the following five drive-offs.

On 19 February she drove off from On The Run Smithfield without paying for $60 of petrol.

On 25 March, at the same service station she drove off without paying for $55 of petrol and did so within hours of having been bailed not to attend there after her arrest earlier in the day for a petrol drive-off.

On 13 April, she drove off from Caltex Munno Para without paying for $68 of petrol, followed by $63 of petrol from Coles Blakeview on 5 May and then two days later, $70 of petrol from BP Mawson Lakes.

Her alleged thieving continued with the theft of $67 worth of alcohol from Liquorland Paralowie in 11 May.

She has been bailed to appear in the Elizabeth magistrates Court at a later date.
