Police have charged two men following the alleged armed robbery of a Samford Village service station yesterday.

It will be alleged shortly before 4am a man entered the Mount Glorious Road business armed with a firearm before making demands for cash.

The employee handed over a sum of cash and cigarettes and the man fled the store on foot.

The employee was not physically injured during the incident.

A 25-year-old Lawnton man and a 24-year-old Dayboro man were charged with armed robbery and will appear in the Pine Rivers Magistrates Court tomorrow.
