Police have charged two teenagers in relation to a ram raid that occurred in Grafton earlier this week.
About 11.20pm on Monday 10 June 2013, a stolen silver-coloured Hyundai Excel was used to smash through the front of a consumer-electronics shop on Prince Street.

Mobile phones and a set of headphones were stolen from the premises.

Grafton Police have been investigating the incident and yesterday (Tuesday 11 June 2013) executed a search warrant on a room in a Prince Street motel.

During the search, officers seized items they will allege were stolen from the shop.

Police arrested two 16-year-old boys, both from Moree, at the premises and took them to Grafton Police Station.

One was charged with aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence in company; be carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner; and breach of bail.

He appeared in Grafton Children’s Court today (Wednesday 12 June 2013), where he was refused bail to face the same court on 15 July 2013.

The second youth was charged with receive stolen property. He appeared Grafton Children’s Court today (Wednesday 12 June 2013), where he was refused bail to face Moree Children’s Court on 26 June 2013.
