Just after 1pm today, a man allegedly armed with a knife threatened a staff member at a discount shop on Gedville Road, Taperoo before taking money from the till.

The offender fled on foot and no one was injured.

Despite an extensive search of the surrounding area, the offender hasn’t been located so police ask if anyone saw the robbery or the man running off to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.sa.crimestoppers.com.au

He is described as being late teens or early twenties, 172 cm and wearing a grey hooded top with a lime green letter R on the front, long dark tracksuit pants and distinctive white shoes with black T-bar type design on them.
