Police are investigating the armed robbery of a taxi driver in Bungalow overnight.

Around 9.50pm, three men got into a taxi on Pease Street, Manunda and directed the driver to Cava Close in Bungalow.

One of the three men has produced a knife and demanded money from the driver.

The three have then left the taxi and were last seen running on Cava Close.

The driver did not suffer any physical injuries as a result.

The first man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, around 170cms tall and had a solid build and light brown hair.

The second man is described as being Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, around 170cms tall with a solid build.

The third man is described as being Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, 160cms tall and had a slim build.

Police investigations are continuing.
