Police are searching for two men who robbed a Waterford West petrol station at knife point early this morning.

Preliminary information indicates that the pair entered the Kingston Road business around 2.50am, threatening a male staff member before stealing cash and fleeing.

They were last seen running in a north easterly direction.

Both men are described as Caucasian and aged in their early 20’s. Both had their faces covered, with one wearing a green hooded jumper and dark park, and was approximately 175cms tall. The other man was wearing a blue hooded jumper and was approximately 165 to 170cms tall.

No one was injured and police investigations are continuing.
