Police are appealing for information after four males robbed a hotel in Auburn tonight (Tuesday 25 June 2013).

About 6.50pm, four males have entered the rear of a licensed premise on Parramatta Road near the intersection of Melton Street South.

Three of the males had firearms and the other had a knife

The quartet threatened staff and patrons and demanded money.

A male customer has told police he was allegedly assaulted by a member on the ground.  Aside from being shaken by the incident the man was not physically injured.

After taking a quantity of cash they left though a back door and drove away in a car that was last seen on Melton Street South.
