Police are conducting investigations into a shooting at Punchbowl this evening.
About 9:10pm, Wednesday 26 June 2013, a 24-year-old man attended a club on Punchbowl Road with gun shot wounds to his leg and stomach.
Police and Ambulance Paramedics were called to the club and the man was taken to hospital for treatment of three gunshot wounds. He is believed to be in a stable condition.
Detectives from Bankstown Local Area Command are conducting investigations into the shooting and are being assisted by officers attached to the State Crime Commands Operation Apollo.
A crime scene has been established outside the club, however, police believe the incident occurred elsewhere.
Members of the public who witnessed the shooting or who may have information about the identity and whereabouts of those involved are urged to come forward and contact police.
