5 July 2013 – Armed Robbery – Bottle Shop – Guildford

Police are appealing for information after a robbery at a bottle shop in Guildford this afternoon (Friday 5 July 2013).
About 3.50pm, two males entered the shop at the intersection of Woodville Road and Osgood Street.
Staff members were threatened with a firearm and the pair demanded money.
After being given cash from the register the pair fled and were last seen running along Osgood Street towards Excelsior Street.
No one was injured and no shots were fired.
Police are investigating the robbery and are speaking with witnesses to obtain a description of the males.
