A man suffered a neck wound after a fight outside a hotel in Rozelle this morning.
The incident happened about 1.35am today (Sunday 7 July 2013) when a fight broke out between men outside a hotel in Darling Street.
Police have been told a 20-year-old man suffered a slash wound to his neck after being allegedly being attacked by another man armed with a shard of glass.
Police arrested two men at the scene and provided first aid to the injured man until NSW Ambulance Paramedics arrived.
The man was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital where he was treated for a deep laceration to his neck and released. Police hope to get a statement once he is deemed fit.
One of those arrested, an 18-year-old man from Rozelle, has been taken to Newtown Police Station where he is assisting police with their inquiries. A second man was released pending further investigation.
