5 July 2013 – Armed Robbery – Service Station – Raceview

Police are looking for a man following an attempted armed robbery in the car park of a Raceview service station this evening.
At 7.33pm, a 19-year-old woman was at the Raceview Street business when she was approached by a man.
He proceeded to open the driver’s side door of the woman’s vehicle before threatening her with a knife and demanding the keys.
The woman entered the service station where she notified police.
He left the scene empty-handed after he was unable to start the motor vehicle.
The man is described as being Caucasian with a slim build, 175cm tall, and dark brown hair.
Investigations are continuing.
